Like many a family here in Bagan, these kids live essentially at one of Bagan's thousands of amazing ancient temples. Their parents are caretakers and they pass the time meeting wanderers like me, who find their way to the smaller, more out of the way temples by foot or bicycle. They are so excited to see me coming, even more so when they see the camera, though its size intimidates at first.



As I sat on the stone, cleaning my always dusty equipment, they curiously gathered round, patient and respectful, smiling and friendly, though a bit shy.
