More Europeans seem to come to Burma than anything else, lots of French tour groups (lots is relative word here) and some brought practical things like clothes for the kids. Others brought the requisite Bad Stuff - candy, toys that require batteries, etc. Always sad to see such places become Westernized, seems inevitable that no matter where you go, where you left will follow you.
