No,Burma Shave!
Burma is safe for all travelers. One Northern man worked in Burma. He got handfuls of bodyguards even no need to use them for once.
Military jeep right when he is in need. No need to fear for tourists to move around in Burma. I have never heard of Burmese harming visitors.
